"People & Places" - 9 Track LP
Released June, 2024
Paige is releasing her first full-length album, People & Places, on Friday, August 2, 2024, exploring ten years of her life when she was under the misconception that certain people or places needed to change to find contentment. She learned, "Where you go, there are you" [Confucious/Jon Kabut-Zinn]. This nine-song collection features Paige's vocals that tell stories in her folk-rock, americana, and soulful style. "I love the diversity of this album, which reflects the variety in my experiences and everyday life. Most of the album was tracked with my band in my home, and I think you can hear that I sound more comfortable and authentic in my voice in that environment."
FEATURED TRACK -
"Go West"
Go West is autobiographical, but will speak to you if you've ever thought you had to move away from home, or followed a dream across the country, only to realize: you don't quite fit in your new locale, you miss home, but you know you can't really go back.
“Born and raised under strong oaks in Austin, TX, I was moderately obsessed with moving out west at a young age. I moved to California as a newlywed for school and fell in love with the raw beauty of the land. But I found the living hard and the fitting in harder than expected, and always missed my home state of Texas. Even though I now call Dallas, Texas home, I’ll always be drawn to the California coast and my “Texas Hill Country.”
This song was co-written by Paige Hill (music and lyrics) and Guillermo Murillo (music). Credits: Ethan Sedlmeier (drums), Spencer Kenny (bass & synth), Guillermo Murillo (electric & acoustic guitar)

"Good Woman" Inside the Music
Track 1. Easy Love
This song is written from a mother’s perspective, and is as gentle and beautiful as whispering “I love you” to your newborn. Sometimes mothering a young one is the hardest job there is, but it’s “easy love” because it is so natural.
Track 2. No Sweetness, No Love
As a mother, we long for our children to know the depths of our love, imperfect as it is. This song delves into a mother’s fear that her love is not enough. Yet, in seeing her own lack of power she finds redemption, accepting help from above, and realizes that the love she has is just enough.
Track 3. Write You a Waltz
This song is obviously a waltz, written for lovers. Practically every line hints at an inside joke shared between a couple who have enjoyed years together, lovingly battling it out for lead on the dance floor.
Track 4. Sticks and Stones
This tongue in cheek dance song belies a strong no nonsense message of a woman who is not taking it anymore. Words can be hurtful, but don’t have the power to move this strong woman. So if you have a problem “go on and leave.” But you can dance to this on your way out.
Track 5. Good Woman
No one said it’s easy being a woman, or a mother. Sometimes we are not who we claim to be or strive to be. This song is a vulnerable portrayal of a woman struggling with addiction, struggling to be honest, and struggling to be "good".
BONUS Track 6. Sticks and Stones (Extended Mix)
